Stewart Electric Golf Trolleys at Scottsdale Golf

Stewart Golf was formed to design, develop and manufacture luxury powered golf trolleys specifically for those customers who look for only the very best.  All of Stewart Golf products are designed to meet exacting design and engineering standards as opposed to a cost target.  Stewart Golf only use high quality components and will not use sub-standard designs or parts if it in any way reduces overall objectives to provide only the best in engineering excellence and styling.  The seeds of the company were formed in the 1980's when Roy Stewart retired and took up the wonderful game of golf.  Almost immediately, Roy (a life long engineer) started thinking that there were many areas of the game of golf that could be improved, not least the way that golf clubs were transported around the golf course.  Fast forward to 1999.  Roy, Ross (his son) & Mark (his grandson) revisit the concepts of what would become the Stewart Golf trolley and decide to take them further.  Very quickly, two more talented design engineers (David Funnell & Jon Miller) join the newly formed Stewart Concepts Limited and development accelerates.  Several exciting product ideas are generated and after much deliberation, the concept for a totally new electric golf trolley is chosen to take to the market.   In October 2003 the Stewart X1 was unveiled to an unsuspecting public.  Sam Torrance (who had just captained Europe to Ryder Cup victory) agreed to promote the brand of Stewart Golf and an amazing amount of editorial coverage followed in national magazines and newspapers.  Stewart Golf had arrived.  As initial sales numbers exceeded all expectations, a waiting list of up to 10 weeks quickly developed for the X1.  The £1199 X1 Remote Stewart trolley was by far the most popular, accounting for over 90% of sales.  The unique character of the X1R took it a long way in short time.  Very soon it was stocked in Harrods and sold all over Europe, appearing on golf courses all over the world.  In 2006 the X1 was replaced by the X3.  Almost 5 years after the launch of the X1, Stewart Golf launched an all new electric golf trolley in April 2008. The F1 Lithium was launched at the London Golf show and a waiting list soon formed for the exclusive £2500 product.  Before the end of the year the F1 Lithium won awards from the British Business Council, and was also presented with a design award at Golf Europe, one of the worlds most important trade shows.  To cope with ever increasing production volumes, in 2008 Stewart Golf also built a new 2500 sqft factory at their home in the Cotswolds.  This additional production capacity will accomodate the planned increase in export sales, with several significant markets keen to introduce the new X5 and F1 to their golfers.  Stewart Golf is a small company with big plans.  The launch of the awesome Stewart F1 Lithium clearly signals our intention to dominate the niche market.
