should be chosen dependent on your specific launch conditions. It is not the case anymore, that the higher lofts should be used more by higher handicappers and lower lofts by lower handicaps. The modern golf ball is designed to reduce spin so even high handicappers can use lower lofted drivers if their launch angle is too high.

We always recommend getting fitted for a golf driver as achieving good performance is basically a numbers game. Once a knowledgeable club fitter has your data from a quality launch monitor, it is then a process of optimising the figures, using different heads, lofts and shafts. Even the highest handicappers can benefit greatly from this process.

The same process is used in both golf fairway woods and golf hybrids and once these clubs are all dialled in to your specific swing traits then you can expect to see your handicap come tumbling down.
