If this sounds like you then there are now golf irons on the market that can help with this. Some manufacturers now produce golf iron sets that are entirely golf hybrids. Hybrids are unquestionably the easiest club in the bag to hit and so it follows that a set of irons made in this way would be easier to use.

Due to their design, they offer a lot more margin for error on where the ground is struck. They have very wide soles so even if the ground is struck before the ball the club will ‘bounce’ a little and not dig into the turf. This will give a result vastly superior to that found if you had used a normal style golf iron. They also have a centre of gravity that is lower and further back from the face than on a traditional iron which aids with getting the ball airborne. The ball will still go in the air and produce a decent result even when the ball has been struck around the equator.
