A well-known golf coach recently did a test where he managed to get hold of four different generations of unused Titleist golf balls. He got a tour player to hit six shots with each ball on trackman and the Prov1 carried a full thirty yards further than the Tour Balata. Golf driver technology has changed to accommodate what this golf ball can do, which is why we now see players carrying it well over 300 yards.
