Mizuno ST-X 230 Golf Driver
The highly anticipated release of the Mizuno ST-X 230 driver is now upon us and this stunning driver looks like it will certainly live up to expectations. A more rounded, deeper profile with weight located closer to the hosel – means slightly higher spinning and draw biased for the majority, but more workable for many elite players (especially in lower lofts).
Natural drawers of the ball may find more ball speed from the ST-X. Boosted by the CORTECH Chamber to be faster from the face, spin less and deliver an incredible, solid sensation at impact. Mizuno’s CORTECH Chamber encases a 3 gram stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU – taking stress from the clubface and creating an additional source of energy. The Design focus is a combination of deeper CG and shorter CG distance for a balance of workability in both directions while providing higher MOI and mid/low spin, making this the strongest performing Mizuno driver to date. The new ST-X 230 is a complex character. Although in the higher loft option it’s a higher flying draw biased option, the 9.5° for many of Mizuno's tour players was more workable, and faster from the face.
CORTECH Chamber
Encases a dense stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU – taking stress from the clubface and creating an additional energy source. At the same time locating weight closer to the clubface serves to reduce spin rates, while also contributing to a more solid, powerful sensation at impact.
FORGED SAT 2041 BETA TI FACE
More resilient than commonly used 6-4 Ti, with more complex multi-thickness design – made possible by Mizuno’s CORTECH Chamber.
UNIFIED SOLE COMPOSITE
Carbon sole plate now a single piece to allow weight to be pushed to the extremes for overall stability.
WORKABLE / DRAW BIAS
Weight located closer to the shaft axis can both encourage a more workable or draw biased outcome, dependent on the player.

What does Custom Fitting cost?
In many cases, there is absolutely no charge. Some producers do charge an upcharge for certain shafts or grips but there are many options that don't cost a penny more than the standard set.
Do Custom Fit golf clubs take longer to be delivered?
Yes. As the clubs will be built by the manufacturer tailored for you, they may take up to 10-14 working days to be delivered, depending on the brand. All current lead times are clearly displayed on the product page for you. As soon as we receive them, we will send them on a next day delivery service and e-mail you to let you know they are on the way.
