PXG PROTO X DRIVER
The PXG 0811 X Prototype driver is the next generation of high performance PXG driver. Following superb feedback from its tour players PXG decided to release this prototype to the golfing public. Featuring the same classically stealthy good looks at address as its predecessors the Proto X driver is an absolute beauty and has a compact looking profile that belies its 460cc size. With a carbon fibre crown raised through the centre of the head it prevents any unwanted glare from strong sunlight and when behind the ball it just looks as though it is going to send the ball far down the fairway.
One of the biggest changes from the PXG Gen 2 0311 driver is the size of weights used in the on the sole. Moving away from the precise small weights, the Proto now uses the same, larger weights as on the range of PXG putters. With 5g, 7.5g, 10g, 12.5, 15g, 17.5g and 20g weights available, the ability to fine tune your trajectory and shot shape has never been easier.
Large adjustments are now possible in a matter of a minute or two and can have dramatic effects on the ball flight if so desired. Changes can either be subtle or huge depending on which weights you use. Put the heavy weight in the heel for more draw bias, the heavy weight in the toe for more fade bias, the heavy weight at the front for max distance or at the back of the head for max forgiveness with different combinations dialing each change up or down.
The PXG Proto X is by design a very low spin driver head and is more suited to slightly higher spin players that may well have a negative or level angle of attack at impact. Available in only one loft at 9 degrees with the loft being adjustable by up to 1.5 degrees up or down.
The PXG 0811 X Prototype driver has wonderful acoustics and provides a reassuringly powerful noise at impact. Ball speeds are super impressive and up there at the pinnacle of what can be produced today. All in all, the PXG Proto X driver is a stunning looking golf club and should be a serious contender for your next golf driver.

What does Custom Fitting cost?
In many cases, there is absolutely no charge. Some manufacturers do charge an upcharge for certain shafts or grips but there are plenty of options that don't cost a penny above the standard set.
Do Custom Fit sets take more time to be delivered?
Yes. As the clubs will be constructed by the producer tailored for you, they may take up to 10-14 working days to be delivered. As soon as we receive them, we will send them on a next day delivery service and email you to let you know they are on the way.
