  • Consultation The combination of your Player Profile Questionnaire (filled in when scheduling an appointment) and the consultation on arrival with your PGA professional club fitter, gives us an understanding of your game and how we can improve it through our custom fitting process. Through years of experience, our club fitters are fully trained and have acquired a huge amount of knowledge that will go into your fitting to determine the best specifications in your new club setup. If you currently own clubs and are looking to upgrade them, bring them along with you to your custom fitting session. This allows us to get valuable data to work from and will help us achieve maximum improvement in your game.
  • Club Testing and Data Analysis You will be taken to one of our GCQuad custom fitting bays where you begin by hitting some shots with your existing clubs. This will give your fitter excellent base data to work with. Once this has been completed it is time for the magic to begin. Your fitter will start to piece clubs together that they believe will bring you a significant improvement over your existing setup. Testing of the new clubs will then begin, with in-depth analysis of the data shaping further selections and refinements.
  • Component Choices & Review Scottsdale Golf are proud to offer one of the largest selections of clubhead and shaft choices to be found anywhere. From a comprehensive selection of stock shafts all the way through to a dazzling array of the most exotic shafts, we have them all. Many are shafts you would otherwise not get the chance to try and they can have a hugely positive effect on your performance. When the selection process has been completed, your fitter will present you with all the relevant data required for you to make the best choices for your game. Full print outs of all recommended club specifications will be available for you to look through, along with all the corresponding prices.
  • Club Build Once you have completed your purchase, you can then sit back and relax at our coffee bar as our technicians build your new golf clubs. There will computers and iPads available for you to use if you wish to use the internet or, should you want to watch the build closely, you are more than welcome to do so as it is a fascinating process! Working to extremely tight tolerance levels, our qualified Master Club-builders will soon have your new clubs ready to take away with you, built exactingly to the specifications determined in your fitting experience.

  • GCQuad We use GCQuad launch monitors in our fitting bays, which are the most accurate launch monitors for indoor use. Thanks to its precise sub-millimetre measurement of the golf ball and club, Foresight technology ensures instant, clear, accurate and reliable feedback for golfers of all ages and abilities. No other launch monitor technology compares to the GCQuad when it comes to delivering real-time performance insight.
  • SAM PuttLab For putter fittings we use the superb SAM PuttLab which analyses the 28 most important parameters of the putting stroke. SAM PuttLab is the complete putting solution offering the golfer both extremely accurate data and comprehensive analysis. It's the only system on the market that considers technique and consistency to evaluate a player’s individual performance profile.
  • SST PURE™ Golf Shaft Alignment & Analysis Machine We are delighted to have one of only two SST PURE machines in the UK. Golf shafts aren't perfectly round. Studies show that these irregularities in the shafts basic structure cause unwanted bending and twisting during a golf swing. This leads to shot dispersion and inconsistency from club to club. This incredible machine allows us to build clubs with each individual shaft aligned to maximise performance. SST analyses the structure of any golf shaft to identify it's most stable bending plane or Neutral-Axis.

    About the Scottsdale Golf Performance & Build Centre
    Using golf clubs that are perfectly fitted to suit your physical build and your golf swing characteristics, can have a profoundly positive impact on the quality of your golf. No two people are built the same, nor are any two golf swings the same so it stands to reason that different club specifications will be required for different individuals. With the opening of our unique new Golf Performance & Build Centre, we are now able to offer you a bespoke fitting experience unlike anywhere else. Only at Scottsdale Golf can you walk away with your new, fully custom fitted clubs, on the same day as your fitting.

    Schedule Your Fitting
    We have seven different custom fitting experiences for you to choose from, including putter fittings, wedge fittings, single club fittings, iron set fittings and full bag fittings. Single club fittings usually take around an hour with a full bag fitting taking up to three and a half hours. Book your custom fitting session with one of our master fitters above.

    Getting Ready for Your Appointment
    If you currently own clubs and you are looking to upgrade them, you should bring them along with you to your custom fitting session. This allows us to get valuable data to work from and will help us achieve maximum improvement in your game. You should bring your usual golf shoes with you and a glove, if you wear one. We recommend that you arrive slightly early for your appointment so you can warm up properly before hitting any shots.

    Understanding Your Golf & Needs
    Upon scheduling your appointment, you will receive a player profile form, which we invite you to complete and return to us. This enables your master fitter to have a thorough understanding of your golfing history and future goals before you arrive on the day.

    Launch Monitors & Technology
    No expense has been spared on equipping our facility with the finest technology available. We have two GC Quad launch monitors in our fitting bays, which are categorically the most accurate launch monitors for use indoors. For putter fittings we use the superb Sam Putt Lab which analyses the 28 most important parameters of the putting stroke. In our workshop we use the finest machinery available to club builders and we have one of only two SST PURE™ Golf Shaft Alignment & Analysis machines in the country. This incredible machine allows us to build clubs with each individual shaft aligned to maximise performance.

    The Custom Fit Experience Begins
    You will be taken through to one of our premium custom fitting bays where you begin by hitting some shots with your existing clubs. This will give your fitter excellent data to work from and creates a benchmark for where your game is currently at. Once this has been completed it is time for the magic to begin.

There will be a PC available for you to use if you wish to use the internet or, if you want to watch the build closely, you are more than welcome to do so as it is a fascinating process! Working to extremely tight tolerance levels, our master craftsmen will soon have your new clubs ready to take away with you, built exactingly to the specifications determined in your fitting experience.

  • What's involved in a Putter Fitting?

    Our Performance & Build Centre in Warrington features a SAM PuttLab, one of the finest putting fitting tools available.  We are able to offer a bespoke putter fitting for golfers of all ages and abilities.  The fitting process will open your eye to previously unknown factors to do with your putting stroke and change your approach to putting for the better.

    A fitting with our certified putting specialist and instructor using our SAM PuttLab technology, you will be talked through everything you need to know to improve your putting.  The fitting gives an incredibly in-depth insight into your putting stroke, measuring things like:
    - head design
    - length
    - loft
    - lie angle
    - ideal putter weight

    Combining Sam PuttLab with fitting kits from major manufacturers and an enormous selection of stock putters, we will get you draining more putts and lowing your scores.

    On average in lower handicappers, we see them sink 43% more putts whilst using a putter fitted specifically for their strokes, and a huge 83% in higher handicappers.

  • Why is there a fitting fee?
    • Access to the most premium fitting centres in the UK
    • Access to all the fitting equipment you would expect and then on top of that Tour level equipment simply not available elsewhere.
    • Take your customised clubs away on the day. With golf participation and demand currently at an all-time high, waiting times for customised clubs are challenging. Not here!
    • One to one access to vastly experienced, knowledgeable, and qualified custom fitting PGA professionals.
    • One to One access to vastly experienced, knowledgeable, and qualified club building professionals who have all been certified by the brands to assemble golf clubs to the tightest of tolerances.
    • Your golf clubs will be assembled in the most up to date golf workshop using machinery and tools which are internationally regarded as the best and most efficient at assembling golf clubs to the highest standard.
    • This is "your time". This is not a fitting centre concerned with filling the day with as many bookings as possible. You will notice with the booking times scheduled we are and over estimating booking times to give you the best experience available. Your fitting will not be rushed to get the next customer in as you may well have experienced elsewhere.
  • Can I just walk in and get a fitting?

    Not at Warrington or Glasgow.  These two locations run strictly on an appointment basis only.
    Booking is highly recommended at the Manchester location but not essential.

  • Can I bring a guest with me?

    Yes, you may.  To allow the staff to provide the best service to all our customers we kindly ask that a maximum of 1 person accompanies you to your appointment.

  • Can I use discount codes and multibuys?

    Sadly not.

    Due to the highly specialised nature of the fitting process and the unique opportunity to walk away with your custom fit clubs on the same day as your fitting, discount codes and multibuy offers that are available on our website are not able to be used in our FIT.BUILD.PLAY locations.

    This applies to Birthday Codes and Email promotions also.

    We will also not price match other retailers due to the unique service that we offer.

  • Do I get Loyalty Points for FIT.BUILD.PLAY purchases?

    Sadly not.

    Due to the highly specialised nature of the fitting process and the unique opportunity to walk away with your custom fit clubs on the same day as your fitting, loyalty points are not gained for FIT.BUILD.PLAY purchases.

  • What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

    ​Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 48 hours before the day of your fitting.

    Fitting fees do not automatically get refunded via our booking system.  To request a refund contact pro@scottsdalegolf.co.uk.  Cancellations 48 hours or less of the day of the booking are non-refundable. ​

  • Are prices the same as on your website?

    Unfortunately, due to the high costs involved in sourcing components, combined with the costs involved in offering the same day build service (unavailable anywhere else in the UK), on some occasions the same product may cost less on our website but without the same day build.

  • Same Day Disclaimer

    We have extensively stocked and invested into our Performance & Build Centre to offer our unique "same day build" experience.

    External factors such as stock availability and fitting requirement's classed as "extremely unique" may result in you not being able to take some of your clubs on the day. In these scenarios we would still source and assemble your clubs faster than any other golf retailer.

    Unfortunately, at present we cannot offer same day build on PING products.  We do however have all the fitting equipment and will source these clubs as quickly as possible from the manufacturer.
