Since 2000 there have been several new versions of both the Titleist Pro V1 and Titleist Pro V1x which have seen gradual improvements in all aspects of its performance. This year sees the latest incarnation of this historic golf ball and it promises to be something extremely special. For the first time in over a decade Titleist have produced a brand new dimple pattern for both golf balls which looks set to offer all levels of golfers significant increases in performance.
The 2021 Titleist Pro V1 golf ball benefits from brand new aerodynamics, casing layer, cover and core technologies all of which will see this superior ball excel from Tee to Green. The redesigned soft cast Urethane Elastomer cover brings a much softer feel to the Pro V1 than ever before and brings unparalleled greenside control. The casing has been made faster which enhances ball speed and lowers long game spin still further and the 2.0 ZG Process Core has been reformulated to increase overall distance.
The Pro V1 golf ball is designed to offer less long game spin than the Pro V1x and will produce a lower, more penetrating ball flight. Both versions will offer similar greenside control but The Pro V1 does it with a softer feel. If you are serious about your golf and you want to shoot the lowest score you possibly can then there is no golf ball available today that can help you more than the 2021 version of the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.
