The 2024 season has seen plenty of driver releases that have taken the golfing world by storm. TaylorMade's Qi10, Callaway's Paradym Ai Smoke and the PING G430 10K have all seen great success this year both in a retail perspective and at our Fit. Build. Play fitting centres alike. There has, however, been a dark horse this year that has been producing consistently amazing results and has been surging in popularity amongst golfers across our fitting centres and the wider golfing world... the COBRA DARKSPEED. 

Cobra Have massively revamped their approach to their woods this year and the end result is something incredible. The DARKSPEED makes use of otherworldly details as they tapped in to space-grade materials and have also leaned on the expertise of aerospace engineers to push the limits of speed and ultimately develop the fastest driver they've ever built. These same aerospace engineers have introduced ground breaking aerodynamic shaping to allow for the player to harness extreme speed through a more streamlined shaping. Changes made to achieve this are things such as reducing the face to topline radius, raising the crown peak, raising the skirt and reduced clubface surface area. 

With DARKSPEED, Cobra have had to look for a way to stabilise such speed and this is imbued in to the DARKSPEED via the means of 2 weights. One sits at the back of the club with another positioned further forward allowing for a blend of forgiveness and spin control. In combination with this Cobra have searched for ultimate in energy transfer via a lower and more forward positioning of their PWR-BRIDGE tech means even faster ball speeds with minimised spin. Upgrades to their PWRSHELL L-Cup face and H.O.T. Face design also deliver a serious distance injection whilst ensuring more efficient speed and spin across the clubface. 

If you haven't given the DARKSPEED a chance, I couldn't recommend it any more. Fast, forgiving and long, this could be the driver that takes you to the next level.
