Our Incredible Express Custom Service Explained

If you have visited the Scottsdale Golf website before you may have noticed that certain clubs have an Express Custom option available when purchasing. Let me take this opportunity to explain exactly what this amazing option is.

Before the Pandemic started, if you already knew the specifications of the new clubs you wanted, you could order them through a retailer such as Scottsdale Golf, and they would be built by the manufacturer and delivered to you usually in under two weeks. Sadly, the pandemic has had an enormous impact on the supply chains of every industry and golf has been severely affected. Now custom fit orders can sometimes take months to arrive through shortage of components at the manufacturers. It is nobody’s fault; it is simply a sign of the strange times we are living through.

Thankfully for our customers, Scottsdale Golf are in the privileged position of being able to offer our Express Custom service. In December of 2021, Tyrell Hatton officially opened our fabulous Performance & Build Centre which is situated in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Within this fabulous new facility, we have a purpose-built workshop which is where customers watch their new clubs come to life, after they have completed their custom fit session.

As one of very few retailers in the UK to be supplied with clubhead components direct from the manufacturer, we are also able to use our workshop to offer our Express Custom service on selected brands such as PXG, Wilson, Miura, and Srixon. This service enables you to build clubs to your exact specifications on our website, with the full choice of our expansive shaft and grip matrix. This will often give you the opportunity to create clubs with combinations that would otherwise not be available.

Once we have received your Express Custom order, they will be built by our master craftsmen to your exact specifications, to the strictest tolerance levels in the industry. We will then deliver them to your front door for free within a maximum of one week. Ordering a new driver or a new set of clubs is an exciting time for any golfer, so the fact that we can build and deliver them to our customers in such a short time frame is something we are immensely proud of.
