2024 welcomes TaylorMade to centre stage once more with their latest, revolutionary, Qi10 family of clubs. Their most forgiving to date. This years release see's TaylorMade reach an unprecidented milestone in club development, hitting 10K MOI. This incredible feat of engineering will provide a never before seen level of forgiveness. With several offerings on Drivers, Fairways, Hybrids and Irons, TaylorMade are looking to cover all bases and leave no golfing stone unturned. Read on as we delve deeper in to everything they have to offer this season and which might be most suited for your game should you be in the market for an upgrade.
Drivers: Qi10 | Qi10 Max | Qi10 LS
Qi10 - The standardard Qi10 arrives with a brand new shape. Slightly larger at address with a clean look of the all new Infinity Carbon Crown inspiring nothing but confidence for golfers of all abilities. The new Infinity Carbon Crown covers 97% of the total crown area which means it free's up more mass for improved weight distribution as a whole, equalling better forgiveness. This new addition also provides the player with a much cleaner view at address with more enhanced alignment thanks to the high contract topline embedded in the 60 layer Carbon Twist Face. This re-engineered Carbon Twist Face is significantly lighter than a traditional titanium face and creates a much more efficient energy transfer resulting in better ball speeds.
Qi10 Max - TaylorMade speed, with a new level of forgiveness. This driver has the highest combined inertia (MOI) in TaylorMade history. Forgiving like none before it, the Qi10 Max will be looking to make waves in the driver market due to the game improvement potential it provides golfers of every level. Using strategic mass placement, the Qi10 Max is engineered to provide all golfers with the ability to more easily square up the head at impact for straighter drives and with the maximum head size available every single golfer will be brimming with confidence on the tee box. Combine all of this with the addition of their re-engineered Carbon Twist Face for maximal energy transfer and you have an absolute drive bombing machine at your fingertips. What more could you ask for?
Qi10 LS - Lower CG projection and high MOI create a driver aimed at higher speed golfers who want the ultimate in low spin performance. The Qi10 LS has been strategically engineered to reduce spin and enhance workability without the sacrifice of stability. This of course comes jam packed with other tech such as the re engineered 60X Carbon Twist Face, 18g sliding weight enabling the creating the ability to create a spin bias to suit your game and the Thru-Slot Speed Pocket which optimises ball speed on low-face hits.
Fairways: Qi10 | Qi10 Max | Qi10 Tour
Qi10 - Lower CG projection aids in creating a fairway that is easier to launch, provides additional forgiveness and creates the platform for incredible distance. A Mid-face height is engineered for versatility eith easy launch from even the tightest of lies providing major confidence off of the tee. The 190cc head procvides the perfect blend of tour level performance and ease of use for golfers of all abilities. This in combination with the proven TaylorMade technologies of the past few years including: V-Steel for ultimate turf interaction and their Thru-Slot Speed Pocket maximising ball speeds and their Twist-Face which aids straighter ball flights, you've got yourself the makings of an incredible golf club.
Qi10 Max - The larger 200cc head size and Infinity Carbon Crown provided TaylorMade the platform to move mass to the far perimiter of the club resulting in extreme forgiveness and the highest MOI fairway that theyve ever produced. A very low CG and additional loft is provided for the Qi10 Max which provides the user a higher ball flight whilst being optimised for carry distance. For those who normally struggle to hit fairway woods the Qi10 Max presents a slightly shallower face which, when combined with the large 200cc head, gives the player untold confidence whether youre playing the shot from the deck or off a tee. A new addition this year see's TaylorMade bringing a brand new Infinity Carbon Crown and sleek hosel design to its fairway wood offerings. Extra weight allowence due to the changes has enabled a more optimal weight distribution and a lower CG placement meaning you're getting the most bang for your buck out of the club, really chasing distance. Of course as with the standard Qi10, the Max variant comes with proven TaylorMade technologies of years past, resulting in an incredible all round club, perfect for golfers of any level.
Qi10 Tour - The Qi10 Tour is for those better players looking for a more tour-proven feel and level of workability from their fairway woods. We see the addition of a massive 50g sliding weight, enabling each player to really dial in their prefferred feel and ideal distance, launch and spin conditions. The lower weight profile of the Qi10 Tour alongside the more compact 170cc head size allows the player the perfect blend of forgiveness and versatility. The new meticulously shaped head design sits behind the ball square to target and provides the player confidence from any lie. Atop all of this the Infinity Carbon Crown provides a clean address and optimal CG distribution for launch and distance.
Hybrid/Resuce: Qi10 | Qi10 Max | Qi10 Tour
Qi10 - This year the Rescue offering from TaylorMade has had a revamp. Internal front-back split weighting provides a new level of versatility with incredible long distance and launch. Mid-face height allows for vesatility with easy launch from even the tightest lies and truly can be used by any level of player.
Qi10 Max - The Max variant is optimised for easy launch and forgiveness. Extreme perimiter weighting and ultra-low CG vreates a versailite Rescue club enginieered for high launch, long carry distance and max forgiveness. The shallower face in combination with their trusted V Steel sole means that a high launch is guaranteed from any lie, no matter how bad.
Qi10 Tour - Again the Tour variant is aimed at that player who wants a little more from their club. The Tour comes with a high-toe deeper face provides a look and performance for players seeking the ultimatine in amalgamation of distance, workability and control. The new tour-inspired precision shape sits beautifully behind the ball, providing confidence from the tee or the fairway with the internal heel-toe weighting providing added forginess with a more compact look.
Irons: Qi | QiHL
Qi - TaylorMade look to have brough their best game improvement iron to date in the Qi. Featuring TaylorMades patented face technology, theyve created an iron designed to control face flexibility and eliminiate "cut" spin, resulting in straighter shots throughout the whole set. Each head of the Qi irons has been designed to deliver specific perofrmance for that individual iron. Started with a foundation of maximum distance and forgiveness, the face design is tailored to deliver the launch and spin needed for straight consisten shots, throughout the set. The Qi irons feature FLTD CG which strategically positions the centre of gravity lowest in the long irons and progressively shifts it higher throughout the set. The design produces better launch and playability in the longer irons and precision and control in those scoring clubs. The increased blade length of the Qi iron improves forgiveness whilst the redefined leading edge geometry is designed to give players a consistent strike for higher launch.
QiHL - Alongside the benefits of the standard Qi Irons, the new Qi HL is designed with weaker lofts and an ultralight component package. Perfect for those players who would benefit for some help with launch and increased club head speed, maximising carry distance and accuracy.
