MIZUNO ST-Z FAIRWAY WOODS
During extensive research with their tour players Mizuno came to realise that the clubs that they changed the least were their fairway woods with many of them using models that were several years old. This research led in part to the design of the new Mizuno ST-Z fairway wood, with the profile being very much a throwback to the designs of the past.
They are indeed a beautiful shape, with flowing curves on the clubhead at address enticing the golfer into hitting a good shot. Thankfully the performance of the ST-Z fairway woods is much more modern with a powerful low-spin flight and stability the order of the day. A 3rd generation MAS1C Maraging face is now optimised with their new Cortech variable face thickness technology. This is the thinnest and hottest face Mizuno have ever produced and it provides explosive ball speeds.
An ultra-lightweight carbon crown has the allowed the Centre of Gravity placement to be lowered and helps to create low spin whilst keeping the M.O.I high. Making the Mizuno ST-Z fairway wood the longest and most forgiving fairway wood they have ever made. Whilst many fairway woods on the market no longer have an adjustable hosel, Mizuno have gone the other way an offer a huge 4 degrees of loft adjustment (+/-2-dgrees).
The Mizuno ST-Z is another superb offering from Mizuno. If you are thinking of changing your fairway woods for the new season then this beautiful, powerful and easy to hit fairway wood would be a superb choice.

What does Custom Fitting cost?
In many cases, there is no charge. Some suppliers do charge an upcharge for certain shafts or grips but there are plenty of options that don't cost a penny above the standard set.
Do Custom Fit sets take longer to be delivered?
Yes. As the golf clubs will be built by the producer tailored for you, they may take up to 10-14 working days to be delivered. As soon as we receive them, we will send them on a next day delivery service and e-mail you to let you know they are on the way.
