Should a golf course ever be remapped due to changes on the golf course itself, the updates can be easily downloaded using wifi, there is never any need to connect it up to a PC.

The new and improved HoleVue feature automatically re-orients the entire golf hole from you position to the green as you progress down the hole. Furthermore, Skycaddie's patented Intelligreen technology allows golfers to see the entire hole from their point of view. Many of the features are automated, giving the user much less to worry about as they progress around the course. There is the Auto-course select feature which auto finds the golf course you are at, the Auto-Hole advance feature, which automatically moves the screen to the next hole once you arrive at the tee and the Auto-Zoom feature which automatically gives you close ups when you need them most. The Skycaddie SX550 has been fitted with a large battery which offers extended operation time should you get chance to get a sneaky 9 holes in, and haven't yet had chance to charge it up.
